Periscope is an app you can use on your phone or tablet. You can see live broadcasts, or replay them in the first 24 hours. If you miss that, you might also be able to see them on Katch if the broadcaster sets it up.

There are so many wonderful people on Periscope that are helping others learn how to use it. Here is a list of some of the people I follow.

First and foremost is Kristi Clover. Kristi wrote the book “The Scoop on Scopes“. You can learn step by step how to view and broadcast on Periscope. The list of scopers she writes about to follow greatly increases the ability to learn up to date information on how to use Periscope.

Next, I am not sure how I found Larry Becker, but he has a great idea now that there is scrubbing (moving back and forth through the video on replay.) He has a whiteboard with the topic, and then a list of the segments of his show. He moves an arrow down to the current segment. You can scrub past the introduction and get right to the main point.

Kim Garst is one of the first to give helpful information on updates. I watch her scopes as often as I can. She has a great scope where she says go ahead and start broadcasting, don’t wait to be perfect.

I look forward to 2:00 pm everyday, since Tabitha Philen is there giving out so much information on blogging. You need to make sure you are ready to take notes to keep up with her. I have purchased her Blog Success Planner and have learned so much from using it. I also signed up with Inspired Bloggers University.
