Web Terms

bulletHyperlink - text or graphic that when clicked will move you to another location on the Internet
bulletBrowser - Internet Explorer or Netscape are two of the programs used to see web pages
bulletStatus Bar - location at the bottom of the browser window that usually shows "Done", but sometimes other information
bulletSurf - the process of clicking on hyperlinks and moving from one page to another on the Internet
bulletTitle Bar - blue bar at the top of your browser window
bulletMenu Bar - just below the title bar, - File, Edit, View, etc.
bulletToolbar - just below the menu bar - the icons (pictures) that are shortcuts to commands
